The Spark (ep. #4)
Big fundraising events this week!
Hello and welcome to the 4th episode of “The Spark“ newsletter!
Here you can find everything you need to stay up-to-date with upcoming NFT projects and web3 games
Now let’s dive into the info
Episode structure:
[Early alpha] section:
1. Space Rush (1590 followers)
Self declared as “Free-to-Play dungeon crawler game built around a Play-and-Own model“
Project aims to simplify complexity of NFTs and blockchain to the end user, by shifting towards “inclusive, secure, and player-centric gaming experience“
Team is not revealed just yet, but marketing is led by masterminds that previously worked with “The Grapes“ and “Creepz by Overlord“
My take:
Despite of not having too much information just yet, overall look of this one is positive. Project is very likely to be VC funded. Initial sneak peek looks decent.
And besides of great marketing team, they also onboarded TMA (founder of Funkari, reputable builder in the space) as an advisor, which gives a bit of extra legitimacy in my eyes.
Makes sense to get involved on early stage and keep an eye on further development, as they have to show a lot more things to prove themselves.
Space Rush
2. Oosagi (1540 followers)
Low supply (995 pieces), art-focused project
Created by team of 4, led by official Louis Vuitton Artisan (basically handcraft professional)
Started to get some organic traction
My take:
Genuinely not expecting too much from this one. Seems like art drop without any specific future plan (at least they didn’t reveal it just yet).
However, it’s a really good market for art projects right now, which are popping left and right. If team won’t go crazy with mint price - this collection might launch very well.
Founder’s background (involvement with LV) is the main driver of interest imo. They’re hosting little contests on X, so if you want to grab a WL - keep an eye on their official page.
