• Building an Action Roguelite game with Metroidvanian style elements

• Developed by Realm Studio, launching on Arbitrum

• Closed alpha is coming in Q3 this year

My take:

Variance is the first major title in “Realm” (world-building and exploration-focused ecosystem, launched in 2021).

While drawing an inspiration from classic web2 games like Hollow Knight, Variance aims to be more technologically advanced, thanks to onchain solutions and AI-adaptive gameplay for enhanced personal experience.

In-game economy will be powered by existing token within Realm ecosystem.

However, right now, this project is still quite early, so I would just sign up for a priority access on their website and keep an eye on further development.

2. Early mix

Stream (9145 followers)

• Decentralized platform that enables monetisation for creators

• Portfolio project of Animoca Brands (like Mocaverse)

JinAnomaly (476 followers)

• 3D anime roguelite game in cyberpunk setting

• Gameplay preview looks nice, but they haven’t started marketing yet

Eternal League (563 followers)

• Web3 MOBA game, allegedly supported by Pixelmon

• Limited amount of information is available right now, but sneak peeks look decent

BaseVille (1045 followers)

• GameFi project on Base, somewhat similar to Crypto Valleys (which is on Blast)

• Not much extra info at the moment, but according to announcement in Telegram - the launch should happen soon

• CityVerse Tycoon partnered with Xterio

• Everreach Labs collabs are now open

• Zentry revealed partnership with Beam blockchain

• Material10 teased an upcoming ecosystem reveal

• Shadow War raised $5M in latest Series A investment round

• Legend of Arcadia announced mint date of their upcoming free mint collection

[News] section:

• Nyan Heroes announced a season 2 airdrop campaign

• Pirate Nation hinted upcoming token

• Xterio teased an “Overworld Arena” launch

• Games for a Living concluded a $3.2M seed investment round

• Metalcore re-opens a closed beta access for play-to-airdrop event

• Delabs announced integration with Arbitrum as a chosen ecosystem for their games launch
