My take:

This one looks pretty good for multiple reasons. First of all, they’ve already tested core gameplay loop on web2 audience and got 100k+ downloads on initial prototype.

Team members are doxxed and previously worked with big gaming franchise, driving $1B+ in revenue. So they have an experience and understanding how it’s done.

Core idea behind CityVerse is to move everything web3-related on the background completely, and make gameplay itself as good and intuitive as possible. So it’s a web2 audience focused game in the first place.

WL requirements are not disclosed yet, while public launch is set to occur in May this year. Still super early, so good odds to get involved.

• Onchain strategy game with DeFi elements and deep economy loops

ZooMania (945 followers)

• Self-described as “fantasy world, where players compete in party games & team RPG”

• Backed by Bilibili (huge Chinese video hosting platform)

• Ordinals project with good quality pixel art

• Has a multi-stage roadmap with mini-games, staking, airdrops and more

Neru (250 followers)

• Anime art focused project, ordinals

• MadWorld raised $11M in VC funding

• Polytrade launched Loyalty Portal (free mint + potential airdrop opportunity)

• Avalon showcased a core gameplay feature - interactions with AI-powered NPCs

• Palio introduced “Meet your Anima” campaign (WL opportunities available)

• Elixir Games revealed mint date for their upcoming free mint

• ChronosWorlds collabs are now live (free mint)

• Hytopia announced partnership with Magic Eden, integrating $TOPIA token as a payment method on ETH NFTs marketplace
