1. The Readyverse (1560 followers)

• Building a “multi-world, multi-IP compatible open metaverse”

• Co-created by Futureverse ($54M in VC funding) and creator/producer of “Ready Player One“ movie (which was exactly about future of humanity in a fully immersive metaverse)

• Expected to launch this year

My take:

While their plans are generally ambitious, main goal of this project is to become a “definitive destination for fans to explore their favorite stories & IP in the metaverse“.

So far, they’ve partnered with Warner Bros, to bring Ready Player One IP to in-game metaverse, with more deals being in pipeline, and a general idea to “blend Hollywood and tech, creating a new engaging experiences”.

Futureverse has been in development for over 5 years, and they believe that they can “imminently pioneer the metaverse market“ (they’re yet to witness harsh web3 reality I suppose).

Just keep this one on your radar and see how it will develop, as it’s still extremely early, based on amount of followers too. First actionable announcement is coming in a few weeks, according to article on Forbes.

2. Creatorverse (1970 followers)

• Open world ‘socialverse’ experience, where people can join the squads and build their own digital worlds and unique experiences within them

• Founded by BreederDAO ($12M in VC funding)

• Cross-IP integration (Axie Infinity, Digi Daigaku, My Pet Hooligan and Azra Games already confirmed, and more NFT IPs coming in future)

• Closed alpha is coming on January, open alpha and testnet launch in Q1 2024

My take:

Not the first and not the last project that tries to build a “Sandbox-like“ type of universe, leveraging the cross IP integration for deeper player’s involvement.

Main point of interest here is possible airdrop for early participants; to become one, you need to check their website and fill the form at the end.

I’m not too sure if there will be an NFT collection, as project has a very limited info and roadmap as of right now.

Based on sneak peek, game looks decent, so makes sense to get involved if you like such type of games or interested to try your luck in securing an airdrop.
