[Early alpha] section:

1. Playember

• Free mint, low supply, VC backed ($2.3M raised in pre-seed round)

• Over 120 million app downloads and more than 5 million monthly active users

• Previously collaborated with lots of industry leaders, and now building their own products, that merge web2 and web3 gamers

My take:

Fundamentals of this project are great. It got solid traction from the moment of genesis mint announcement. Team also onboarded quite a few content creators/ambassadors who will help to push the brand forward.

Playember has the same marketing team as AOFverse, which launched with a tremendous success, hence I believe we can see something similar here.

WL requirements are TBA, but I suspect that project will mostly reward players, especially those who engage in activities within existing games developed by Playember.

This one has all the chances to be the ‘next big thing’ if done correctly, keep an eye and try to get involved.

2. Chain Colosseum (gen 2)

• Low supply (~1k), free mint, P2E game

• Building since 2021, launched on Oasys (gaming-focused) blockchain

• Previously been focused on Asian market, now expanding globally

My take:

Right now this game is at the stage of open beta, and has 2 existing collections: Genesis Pass (FP is 1.5ETH but not much volume so can’t say it’s not artificial) and ‘Summoners Book’ (side collection, FP is ~20 AVAX).

Core team onboarded new marketers that will help them to push the awareness about the project globally. Gen2 collection launch is expected to happen in Q1 2024, as well as token sale.

Success solely depends on execution, but since the mint will be free, I don’t see any major risks here; keep an eye if this project looks interesting for you.

• MapleStory Universe announced a whopping $100M fundraise

• SkyArk revealed ‘points farming’ tasks for their upcoming token

• Wade Side announced eligibility criteria for INO (Initial NFT Offering) opportunity. Check second tweet for more info.

• Degen Arena is live again (from 20th of Dec to Jan 3rd). Potential airdrop opportunity for playtest.

• Farcana teased an upcoming low supply BRC-20 collection (free mint). Collabs are open, contact - NoxAeris

• Citizen Conflict announced low supply exclusive collection drop, in collaboration with Cryptocom

• Kiraverse kickstarted marketing for their upcoming free mint collection

[News] section:

• Seedify announced community round IDO for Farcana

• Axie Infinity presented a long awaited evolution update

• Phantom wallet integrated Bitcoin and BRC-20 standard

• Shrapnel partnered with Horizen Labs Ventures (HLV), to straighten their token ecosystem

• Nifty Island announced play-to-airdrop campaign (coming in January)

• GodsUnchained has been relisted on Epic Games, as they changed their policy regarding blockchain-enabled games

• Frame announced a token claim for everyone who traded NFTs on ETH blockchain for the past 2 years
